Description
On a shield shaped gold metal and epoxied device 1 1/4” (3.18cm) in height blazoned as follows: Per bend Sable and Gules, in chief a masoned tower of the second and in base a stylized covered wagon pulled by oxen of the first.
Symbolism
The tower recalls the engineering branch insignia denoting the unit is part of that structure. The covered wagon pulled by oxen recalls the unit’s coat of arms as well as a long standing heritage to its home in Nebraska.
Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved 12 April 2017.
