Description/Blazon

Gules, a lion passant guardant above two points issuant from base Argent. Motto: WAY OF THE VICTORS.

Symbolism

Scarlet and white are the colors of the Corps of Engineers.  The lion, in the honor position, is taken from the arms of Normandy and represents combat service in that area.  White has been used in place of yellow to conform to the colors of the Corps of Engineers.  The points symbolize palisades, the installation of which was an important function of early Engineers.

Background
The coat of arms was approved on 22 August 1955.
