Description

Symbolism
The insignia symbolizes the function of the organization. The colors scarlet and white (silver) are those of the Corps of Engineers. The motto translates to “Maps Rapidly or Maps Speedily.”
Background
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 69th Engineer Company (Topographic) on 7 November 1941. It was redesignated for the 69th Engineer Topographic Company, Corps on 31 August 1953. The insignia was redesignated for the 69th Engineer Company on 14 August 1956.
