Beschreibung
Auf einem ultramarinblauen Schild mit einer Höhe von 2 1/2 Zoll (6,35 cm) und einer Breite von 2 3/8 Zoll (6,03 cm) eine rote Zahl „11“, weiß umrandet, 3/4 Zoll (1,91 cm) hoch über einem geflügelten Schild weißer Stern, kreuzweise gebogen, 1 Zoll (2,54 cm) im Durchmesser mit einer roten Scheibe in der Mitte, Flügel goldgelb.
Symbolismus
Der geflügelte Stern repräsentiert die Heeresluftstreitkräfte und die Zahl „11“ die Einheitenbezeichnung.
Hintergrund
Das Schulter-Ärmel-Abzeichen wurde am 13. August 1943 genehmigt.
